RIPMaster was initially developed to work _only_ with Linos. That's because
the program uses some very implementation-specific PostScript code. It must
pull status information from a variable in the RIP's "statusdict"
dictionary which may not be used in other imagesetter's implementations.
And it must modify the Sys/Start file to store its own code on the RIP's
hard disk. I would think it's likely that the people who make it would
expand to imagesetters from Compugraphic, Varityper, et al if possible in
time.
