Has anyone out there dealt with taking scans of an object from two differnt perspectives using LIVE! or Digi-View and then combining them into a 3d image? I'm also interested in converting bitmaps to contours. Second question: Is anyone working on a "ruggedized" amy? I'm not talking milspec and operation while moving but a revamped system box which is dust resistant and suitable for schlepping around outdoors.

I assume you mean 3d with x-specs. I have not done any thing with with that though i have played with the package some. From what I could tell it seem that all you had to do was take two images and give them to a program that would combine them for you in to a stereo image.

The glasses would view the final product, but I was wondering if there was software that could take two iff pix from two view angles and from that build a 3d image. Incidentally, is there a 3d IFF FORM defined yet?
