HELP !!!
Twice in the last two or three weeks, I've gotten a requester during my
startup-sequence indicating "Volume FastHD not Validated". FastHD is the FFS
partition on my 20 Mb Miniscribe HD (A2090 controller). Clicking on "Retry"
allows things to proceed normally, and I encounter not further problems.
I've had the drive and machine for about 13 months (Hmmmm… *that's* the
answer 😉 and experienced no problems whatsoever. I'm not doing anything
particularly new or different as far as I know. Some of you may remember that
I've extolled the virtues of B.A.D. for HD's in this forum recently, but really
can't believe that's the problem because I've had B.A.D. for several months and
had no problems before.
Any ideas anyone ??? Or is it time to start shopping for a new HD ??? I DID
want to get more HD space, but not THAT way !
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
