Don, I don't understand what you mean when you say I have "half-fast" RAM on my 2000. Isn't "fast" RAM just "fast" RAM? – John –

John, No, RAM that sits on the chip bus, even if it's not accessible by the CHIPS (such as the 2nd 512K in an A2000 with the original AGNUS chip) is "half-fast" RAM because it has the same DMA contention that normal CHIP RAM has. Of course, on the A2000 with the new AGNUS, the whole first meg of RAM is CHIP RAM, thus, it has no FAST RAM at all….unless of course if you've added RAM to it. Don
