I have a system that allows the Amiga to directly control the Panasonic
AG6500 (VHS) or AG7500 (S-VHS) tape decks for frame-accurate single-frame
recording. It is less than half the price of comparable systems. Please

It works only with the Amiga right now, and only with the AG6500/7500. I
have everything I need to do the 5850, including the proper cable, except
the 5850. If you really want it, I will rent one for a few days (will be
all it takes, since I've remotely controlled a 5850 before) and get it
working.
Panasonic swears up and down that the 1950/60 will not do single-frame
recording. Until I get one to play with, I'll believe them.
