Greg let me quote from a message on Fidonet from Tim Kahler"The 2meg Agnus Gregg based his design upon will never exist. The design has changed quite a bit since he heard about it. Tibbs is not a developer, nor has he been, so any information he has recieved about the new agnus was only through the rumor channels. DVS is a developer, we have been in contact with top engineers at C= the whole time to make sure we are 100% compatible. The 4megs x 1 drams that the rejuv needs for the 2meg will not be available till late 91 early 92, and will be priced close to $50. each." Any comments???

Larry, 4M x 1's and 1M x 4's are available right now at around the $50-70 range. In fact the reports are that the DRAM manufacturers have reduced production on the 4Mbit parts due to a lack of demand. With that said, at least part of that report is false, at least by the information that I have. Dean DKB Software

Boy, did he put his foot in his mouth… Greg's been out to CBM and knows what he's talking about. As for the 2 meg agnus not existing…. heh heh heh. Ben Amateur Radio Callsign is A A 7 A S

None that wouldn't start a War…. but I can't resist. 1) I am a developer, Certified by CBM. They have given me propreitatry Info on the new Agnus and ECS Denise. 2) I called (before Mr. Kahler's comments) CBM and talked to George Robbins who explained how the A3000 gets 2 Meg of chip ram with 256Kx4 Drams. It is trivial to add and the next revison of the Rejuvenator artwork will inplement it at no extra cost. The current version is designed around Fujitsu 1Megx4 Drams for 2 Meg of chip RAM and anyone's 256Kx4 DRAM for 1 Meg. 3) Mr Kahler or a spy of his has access to CIS (they have downloaded my preliminary manual and used it against me already) and BIX, but they've never addresed me publicly face to face. 4) When he has mentioned me or my product he has never, ever been totally accurate. There is always something that appears to be deliberately misleading and/or untrue. Ex: the late 91 or 92 quote came somewhat out of the manual; I stated 1991; He twisted it to late 91 or early 92. He has repeatedly done that. Another Ex: He claimed in another message that the Rejuventor is a pain to install because there are 268 pins to install without mentioning the number for his product (which appears to be 172). He made it look like you had to put them in separately. I could go on and on…. If anyone buys a DVS Wonder they're gonna get what they paid for. -Greg
