I am trying to find a program by which I can copy a copy protected program for a backup. Something like CopyII for the Amiga. Is there any such program available? James

James, There are a number of programs and hardware/software products thet purport to copy protected software. Most are commercial, and most are advertised in the various magazines. Since I don't use (or have a need to use) them, I can only comment on a couple of products that I have heard about. Marauder is defunct.. no longer being produced, since the company that did produce it got a sudden fit of conscience strangely coincidental with a licensing agreement for an Arkanoid clone. Avoid it, even used, as it is out of date. Project D is still on the market, and I have heard folks say it's good, but I don't know how good. -larry

Do you know where I might be able to purchase these programs? ( Project D and RawCopy). Thanks. James

James, I don't know any specific places, but most mail order outfits carry them if your local dealer doesn't. -larry

I don't own any copy programs, but I'm told that Project D and RawCopy (now in 1.3 version) are the best. I'm also told that Marauder (another one) is now out-of-print. DAVE
