finding clients

The formatting of this book is not very complex; having worked a couple of
years on an IBM memory typewriter, I'd find preview wonderful if I hadn't
also been introduced to WYSIWYG in VP. I, too, had gotten M Word (3.?, then
update to 4.0) "for clients" but have never had occasion to use it for them
and really did not click with that program; WP for me! I'm very
evangelistic about that program according to my brother; but now that his
office is adopting it, he's actually calling ME with questions (quiet
swoon)! Mostly about features, where to find functions. He's one of the
guru sort. My replies are certainly not technical enough for him, but he
might admit that if I circle around the answer (or the problem) a time or
two he soemtimes gets something to go on. He has just finished a conversion
program for a Wang-like word processor they've been using to WordPerfect
(terrible construction there, but I hope you get the drift). As to Word, I
figure I can zip files through VP "conversion" if necessary to edit them;
when I have time to do a spring cleaning of miscellaneous programs, I'll
try to sell it.
Calamine? I've only heard it said, never used it that I know of. I'm not
too bad at estimating straight text, but the ads I do for the Senior News
never seem to take the amount of time I think they will. I haven't yet
developed an eye for just what will be picky and time-consuming (or
accumulated enough execution data to correlate with what I do perceive).
Guess it'll come. Bye, now
