I run Ventura on my 286 clone, but only have dot-matrix printer. I do, however, have access to a Postscript printer which is hooked to a Mac IIcx. The IIcx will read DOS-formatted disks. Is there anyway to print a Ventura chapter to disk, then have it printed to the postscript printer via the MAC? I successfully transferred a Ventura .C00 file to the Mac's hard drive, so getting it on the machine is no problem, just what to do next… or is this impossible?

Over on the Adobe forum is a utility called SendPS which you use on the Macintosh accomplish the same as the DOS COPY <filename> PRN command (who says the Mac is easier?). Load SendPS and you will be asked for the filename. Click on the Ventura C00 file and your file will be send to the PS device. I do this regularly without any problems. Another way to handle this is to hook your PC up to the PS printer directly.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.
