What am I doing wrong? I can't get whap to logon via tymnet. Can somebody walk me through it step by step? Chris Heismann 73457,3276

Re-read the doc. Place a @ before the phone number in the Edit Parameters screen.

I've done that. I've read the docs at least half a dozen times, and about six different people have told me the same thing when I asked in conference. Whap never gets through TYMNET to CIS. When I log on manually, after I dial the number I have to hit a, then type cis02(return) and then I am at the CIS logon prompt. I can't get Whap to get through TYMNET. I'd like to be able to use Whap, but at the rate it is frustrating me, I am going to give up unless I get some straight answers. Chris Heismann 73457,3276

Chris, I don't use TYMNET so can't give you specifics, however you can write a script for Whap! that will do everything you do manually. Check the section in the manual dealing with scripts. -sja

Thats where I am having the problem. I can't get Whap to use the script. I don't know if I am writing it wrong, or what. The docs are almost no help as far as scripts and tymnet are concerned. I can get whap to work fine when I call the closest CIS number, but that is a toll call. The docs are great for that portion, but they stink where I need them the most. Chris Heisman 73457,3276
