Well, I received my update. Its version 2.397a. Trouble is it doesn't
work. I can only see the menus if I disable the fastmemory. Disk access is
much much slower, and the scaling has changed in such a way that I cannot
use auto-dimensioning. It wasn't mentioned in the readme file about the
versions. Too bad it won't work. The readme file listed a lot of bug fixes
and enhancements that would have been nice.
I had asked them for the Gerber Photo plotter software, but they said they
didn't know anything about it. The manual said that it could be obtained
by sending in a disk. The readme file mentioned it also saying that they
made some fixes for the Gerber Psedos (??).

Have you tried calling MI customer support? (818) 360-3715. I'm sorry
you couldn't get it to work. Lte me know if there's anything I can do.

I'll give them a call. Thanks, I just thought you might have a little more
insight. I was a little impatient because I made the mistake of installing
the new version in the middle of a project that had a deadline the next
day.
