Brad,
When I was last in New York, you were talking about acquiring Type Align
from Emerald City Software. Did you get it? What do you think of it? Is
it really a good/valuable tool, and can the output drive cleanly to a lino?

I've only had time to play with TypeAlign a little, but I like what I've
seen. A few of my customers have purchased it and are having mixed results.
When I talk to them, the difference that keeps cropping up is that the ones
that copy and paste from TypeAlign into another program have trouble
running repro; the others have saved their TypeAlign files as EPS and then
imported the images into other programs, and they've been able to take
their files (along with the EPS TypeAlign save) to a service bureau and get
output without any problem.
I have another client that keeps faxing me samples of stuff she and her
husband have done with the program and printed to a laser printer. _Really_
nice stuff, too, like type skewed and distorted, wrapped around in a
semi-circle. (Tastefully done, of course! <grin>)
