David – I don't have Amerigo type, so I cannot say how it looks at 800×800 turbo res. Right now I only have the 35 fonts that come with the LX6 board and they print out fine w/o any dropouts. I have been examining them with a magnifying loop and the letters look fine – no dropouts. The examples I have from LM are not the same examples that you have. I have the "Turbo Res" announcement at 800×800 and 1000×1000 and the Ventura "Scoop" page at 1000×1000. I have printed out several of the "Scoop" page at 800×800 on my laser printer and it looks great. Again, no dropouts. Also, the flyers I have been printing have come out great? —-Using the "standard" fonts, I have examined some of my 800×800 output looking at letters where a chiseled or pointed stroke meets a straight vertical line (as you suggested) and there are no dropouts. The output I have produced looks great. —–Maybe, and I am speculating here, since I am using only the "standard" 35 fonts, right now, that, if there is a problem, it is with the conversion of other fonts to the LM LXOs? —–The best I can do is send you samples from my LX6, if you want to look at them? I certainly can understand your reluctance to spend the upgrade money w/o knowing for sure what you are getting. However, if I read your note correctly, you have already sent your board in for the upgrade? In which case, you can produce your own samples. If you want copies of some of my output, send me your address. —- bob
