It may not work EXACTLY as you require, but it is quite possible to use the FTP supplied with beta 2 from the command line. FTP itself does not have the help file linked to it yet, but have a look at the help file supplied with the TCP beta…

I'm using WS_FTP.ZIP recently downloaded from CS like you, along with the TCP/IP-32 beta 2 (Dayona) stack – I'm assuming that is the one you mean. They work fine together for me into a Sun. I would expect that this FTP would also work into the old real-mode MS TCP…
