Al, I have Serius Developer Pro… it came with the Comms objects. If you know anything about the Macintosh Communications Toolbox, you'll basically know how to use the Serius Comms objects. Quite unsophisticated… I think you'd do better using the freedom of C or Pascal if mucking about with Mac…

Dennis, Yes… I think t way Bill Gates who suggested (correct me if I'm wrong) that future apps will operate behind the scenes… users will manipulate the data they want to in a little window… the app will operate almost invisibly until s/he wishes to invoke a certain command. Perhaps…
