Dave, Think I might have found something on the 0 unit problem. A German 88-flak was "Wespe'd" and instead of destroyed it was left as a zero strength. My T-34s would auto select it, could not destroy it, and the zero would act as a spotter for the Wespe latter…
68010 Benchmark
Message #52469
Bela, FAKE…FAKED… I'm ashamed . The reason I left the error numbers here was because I thought they were a little on the high side (for Double Precission that is). I checked them again, and the code too. True Basic was +1.00302 and AmigaBasic was .99999932… Not to hot if…

Bill and Al, Thanks for the good thread of messages. Al thanks for the benchmark. I took that puppy home and…ran it on my Amiga with 68010. fastest average percent Language time time speed error TrueBasic (compiler) 63.055 63.82 13.58% 1.00302 AmigaBasic (interpreter) 67.825 67.854 7.049% 0.99999 Just thought I'd…
Gene, I investigated your problem; and sure enough there appears to be a bug. MENU 5,1,2," Checked":MENU 5,1,1," Uncheck" fails Doing these commands will NOT reset the check mark. Only redefining the Menu title will allow this series of commands to work. Toggling MENU 5,1,2," Test":MENU 5,1,1 will work all…
WCS RAM/DISK?
Message #43870
Don, A couple of days ago you left a message to Kerry Person about the WCS in the Amy, (it has already scrolled). What my questions deal with are; 1) I wonder what everyones feelings about having the WCS are NOW after having their systems for awhile, do they like/hate…

Well I just couldn't wait to get my rear "thrashed", and believe me this prog didn't disappoint me. From an ex-USCF rated player, who hated Chess programs as being too SLOOooooowwww, I've got one comment: WOW!!! 1) Disk is copy protected (Booo) 2) But games can be saved to a…

My test program is almost an exact copy of John Chen's (msg25586), and it worked too. But if I changed the type/mode in the window statement to an odd setting (17,19,etc) then the program bombed. Now to deepen the mystery, if I opened a small window (0,0)-(100,100), then all modes/types…
