#37259 #Parnet problems Message #37265
That is what I suspected. I guess that you could use a parallel switch box alternate different pairs of connected Amigas. There is an article in AmigaWorld from October on using Parnet. How can I get Amiga Turbo Network? Axiom Software is releasing a version of Parnet, with cable that…

Marcel, Maybe this is too simple, but you say that you crash when you hit "boot.host" on the A500, but you also say that the A1000 is the host. You can't have two hosts. In that case the A500 should run "boot.client" Also, have you installed the support files? Hope…
#Color Cycling Message #14829
Does anyone know how to make a DPAINT III picture color cycle automatically when it is loaded into a viewing program? Can you edit the IFF file to start cycling automatically? Chris Abissi

NEED HELP Message #6605
From: Christopher Abissi Amiga User Forum · Amiga Hardware November 19, 1990 9:55 PM
TO ALL: Does anyone know if it is possible to increase the memory of the Amiga beyond 9 megs while using the Commodore 68030 card? I had heard that they were planning to market a daughter board for the 68030 card that would allow substantial memory upgrading. I have not…
#ASDG RAM DISK Message #109318
From: Christopher Abissi The Amiga Forum · Hardware February 15, 1988 8:51 PM
Can anyone tell me why I can't get my recoverable ram disk running with a StarBoard2Meg. I put the files where they say and changed the mountlist as directed. Do you need a special Handler file? All help greatly appreciated!!! My last message seems to have scrolled off before I…

David, Sorry to hear about your difficulties. I still have not gotten any answer or even a hint of one from Commodore. I am also using my SideCar as a HD controller box primarily. I have been finding a number of programs that will address a DH0: but not a…
SideCar Message #90952

David, Thanks for your help on the SideCar/Insider question. I think I'll go with Insider just because of the uncertainty of the InBoard. How do you like your SideCar? What are you using it for? Have you noticed a bug on the IBM-Reset? I have the 20Meg HardCardPlus that was…

Lynn, I just was working thru the tutorial and found that my version of the Spell Checker does not detect the double "Game" in the sample text that is separated by the end of a line (e.g……………Game Game……). I also had a lot of trouble with the copy feature until…

Lynn, That's what I already started doing. I'm fairly certain that the Finger Print is inserting a 1/2 inch left margin even though it isn't supposed to until you select that option. I like the NLQ so I'll have to learn to compensate. I'll let you know how I make…

Lynn, The paper is set so the print head rests exactly at the left edge perforations. I physically cannot slide the paper guides any farther to the right. Is there a problem in the starting column? Maybe it is the Finger Print? I'll keep trying. Thanks, Chris A.

Greg, Thanks for the suggestion….2 Insiders stacked huh?!! Sounds outrageous! Yes I have talked to Michigan software and that sounds like the one I want! You can still use KS1.1 with theirs. I'll keep listening. Chris A.

If anyone can help, I am in need of some advice. I have a SideCar and need to get internal Ram expansion since buss ram works very unreliably(including my StarBoard II). I want any suggestions regarding various products including comments about performance etc. If you know about compatibility with SideCar,…

Bill, I may be dumb, but I haven't got the faintest Idea of what you are talking about with the "responding to the box" stuff etc… I just think that TimeSaver offers a lot for a so-called "CLOCK" product. Maybe it isn't the ultimate macro product… I don't think it…

Chris, TimeSaver is a bat-backedup clock that attaches between the keyboard and the computer. Because it is in line with the keyboard its output is interpreted by the Amiga as keyboard input. The device includes the ability to have macros stored which you can execute when you wish or which…

Bill, I tried what Greg suggested and it, indeed, works perfectly! I have delayed as much as 10 sec. before inserting the WB disk with no problem at all. If you do wait too long a warm reset solves the problem! I am delighted with the product and all the…
#Casio/Amiga Tuning Message #35713
From: Christopher Abissi Forum unknown · Audiophile October 8, 1986 9:09 PM
Does anyone know why it is that the Amiga and the Casio CZ1000 sound out of tune when I combine their outputs through a mixer using the Music Studio? More importantly, is there a way of getting them in tune, not just in harmony? The master tune button doesn't seem…

I'll second that complaint…built in obselescence! However, in their favor… Compumed is very accomodating when you have a problem. They are also scheduled to release a Hacker's version soon. It is supposed to contain tools to analyze the protection on a disk, a dumb copier, and the needed tools to…

I find True BASIC to be fast, but I haven't tried it against a Benchmark program to give you a point oference. It certainly does support lines, circles, box etc. for graphics. It also has window commands and supports text, random access type files and low level "byte" files(machine language…
