Tom, Microbotics sells a "riser kit" which will lift the VXL-30 over the Megachip. They have many customers using a VXL-30/32 and a Megachip together. The riser kit costs $5.00. Give them a call at (214)437-5330. Darin
Wow! Sounds neat. I would like more info on the boards and your software. Is this a public domain hardware project, like the LUCAS accelerator? Thanks, Darin
Bill, Let me see if I can find a sample grab, and if I do, I'll upload it. Thanks, Darin

Yeah, that ADSP-2105 is a nice little chip, especially for its $9.90 price tag. I think that these are the specs: 1K words of 24 bit program memory 512 words of 16 bit data memory One buffered serial port Simple multiprocessor interface 12.5 MHz clock, 80ns instruction cycle 68 pin…
From whiat I understand, the Sunrize boards are using the Analog Devices' ADSP-2105 chip. Nice little chip. Only costs $9.95 each, no matter what quantity, 1 to one million.
Michael, I don't think that I want to split up the system, but if I decide to, I'll mail you. Thanks for your response, though. Darin Arrick

No, I'd just be interested in the measly 2400 baud modem. I don't need a really fast modem, although it would be nice. Of course, an Amiga 4000 with 16MB RAM and 1GB HD would be nice, too. 🙂
Is there anything wrong with the modem? Does it have problems connecting with any other modems, such as US Robotics HSTs? Thanks, Darin

I think that Janus runs about $35 to $50. I'm not exactly sure. Call any mail order software place. The should have a price for it. Darin
It's not worthless if you spend a few more bucks on software. Your Amiga's pretty worthless without Workbench, no? A much more expensive doorstop.
