I'd be interested to hear more. I am uncannily good at exploiting the power of 3d studio and Animation Master . . . oh yeah, I'm also an artist. Now there's a winning combination. 🙂 Let me know where I can reach you.
Hmmmm . . . which part of Jurassic Park did you do? 🙂
#Looking for Good Artists
Message #168047
We are a video game company looking for super-talented artists to work in sunny Southern California. We don't at the moment need freelancers. If you are looking for a full-time position and you are exceedingly talented, send me an e-mail. Knowledge of 3d modeling and animation is helpful but not…
If you get this feature working I will scream giddily with delight. There are a lot of things I can do easily in AM that I would like to use in 3ds. This would give me some of that ability. Can't wait to hear more info.
I am most grateful for your thorough and reasoned response. Now the real question is not how to get 3ds to run under windows but how to get five Pentiums I can link together. 🙂
I wish I could help you but remember I am worse than you at this memory stuff 😉
Someone else mentioned that. I'll try it! Thanks 🙂
I used th info you gave me to exclude that area of memory for video and I think it did help. It has let me come to the final '3ds under windows' hurdle I have to face. Now my tablet driver for my Wacom ArtZ is crashing the whole works.…
I've thought about something of the sort but i would like to do similar things with a worm that would not lend itself so well to such a technique. But maybe I'll give that route a try. Thanks for caring. 🙂
Hey, I own Animation Master 3.0 \. What the heck is DXF motion File Export. It sounds like something I need. 🙂
I will pass this info to my technical translator for prompt assimilation into my system. Thanks 🙂
I will call to see what you have available. Appreciate the info. 🙂
I am not sure if I know what those things are but I'll poke around and see if that leads me anywhere. Thanks. I'll take more info if you've got it. 🙂
That sounds like a pretty cool condept I will lokk up the example you posted. Gues I'll have to get BonesPro. Ther are worse fates in life 🙂 Thanks
#3ds and Win311
Message #164627
Has anyone actually figured out how to get 3ds to run in a Windows DOS Shell. I've tried following the 3ds Manual and the info in Inside 3ds. Both crash promptly. I think it related to my video drivers. I have a Stealth 24. Anyone know how to do this…
Thanks I'll look that up.
Thanks for the reply. I actually have never use Python, perhaps that is not as expensive as bones. It is not that I don't think Bones is really great, it is just that there are about twenty Plug-ins I would love to have, so if I can find a free…
#Morphing Along a Path
Message #164465
Does anyone know of a way to effectively morph a mesh along a path, without buying the bones plug-in. I just don't have the cash for that at the moment. I want to make a millipede crawl along a given path.
Thamks for the Info. 🙂
I just thought I'd drop you a note since I've seen your name everywhere I see Animation Master. Just to relate my experience with the program; I loved it at first and have recently given up using it. It is just too slow, too buggy, and too quirky to use…
Animation Master Tapes
Message #3428
Is anyone out there willing to sell me there animation Master training tapes or copies thereof. I need to finish an animation I am working on in the next few days and I am having a most difficult time learning the program. I've managed to handle most of the basics…
