Melissa, Hello! I just purchased Patchmeister to go along with my newly aquired Roland JV-880. Yikes! Programming a driver for the Roland unit has turned out to be a bit more difficult than I thought. Do you know if a driver for the JV-880 will be released any time soon?…

Thanks for the info. The thing is, I'm not that worried about tweaking existing drivers to get them to work with the MPS and JV-80. I've looked at the demo of Patchmeister and doesn't appear that it would be that difficult. But recently I read in this forum that Patchmeister…

Hi! I'm considering purchasing Patchmeister. Could you tell me if it is known to work with the Proteus MPS and Roland JV-80? How about performance maps, can it accept them as well as patch/bank data? Thanks, Andy

Well, I'd have to agree with you that it would be unhealthy for commodore to ignore the rest of the world. Have you checked the various prices of scsi boards vs IDE lately? Almost identical! Its hard to believe that going with scsi over IDE would have significantly increased the…

You're getting a lot of new amiga customers? That's great, I hope it continues. But I still feel confident that the amiga market will not change much over the next year or two (with the possible exception of further penetration of the video market). Commodore should cater to the needs…

Sorry to jump in on your thread but I wanted to get in my 2 cents worth. It seems to me that it is time for CBM to face reality: virtually all of the new machines will be going to consumers that *already* own CBM computers. All this talk of…

You may want to investigate how much Blue Ribbon wants for an upgrade from B&P to B&P pro. At $39 for B&P (an incredible deal by the way) it might be cheaper to buy it this way. Andy
