> I went to Remind / Enter Call as I always have. Remind / Enter Event gives you a whole different set of reminders to choose from, and I hardly ever use it. I use Remind / Enter Call frequently, though, which is why I customized it. Louis

> Dean, No, I haven't upgraded to 4.1b yet. I am awaiting a reply to a message I posted a few days ago before deciding whether or not to upgrade. I just went to set a reminder and all but three (Follow-up call, Contact client, and Request information) were gone.…

At one time I had set up custom "Reminder" entries (Follow-up call, Contact client, etc.) to choose from when selecting "Remind / Enter Call", but now they are gone. What file would I need to restore to retrieve them? Thanks, Louis

I understand that the upgrade to DeskTop Set version 4.1b is now available on-line. Before the network version was postponed, Constantine sold us a preliminary network version a couple of years ago and promised an upgrade to the final network version as soon as it was completed. (We got update…

I have had the same problem and no one has had any idea as to the cause. I haven't asked in some time, though, so maybe by now more is known about it. Good luck

David, You've got a point, but why should DTS be installed under \WINDOWS anyway? It has nothing to do with Windows other than being a Windows-based application. By that convention, almost ALL of the sub-directories on my hard disk should be under \WINDOWS! For that reason, I installed all of…

Joel, If you haven't gotten rid of that file yet, I know a few things you can try. First, you have already been told in a previous message that DOS doesn't allow spaces in a filename. That is true and is why DOS can not delete the file. The character…
#WinFAX Pro & DTS Message #47893
From: Louis Wood Windows 3rd Party D Forum · Okna Corp. September 30, 1994 5:29 PM
I just installed WinFAX Pro For Networks, version 3.0, and I was suprised to see "DeskTop Set" listed in its phonebook drop-down box. I selected it and, sure enough, it opened up my DTS phone book, and populated its list box with entries from my own phone book. Unfortunately, sometimes…

George, that is a terrific idea. I hope that we get some positive news about that. Louis
