Wait – the way I got stuck in the mesage pile it looks like I'm agreeing that the DX27 is dinky. I don't think so – it beats the CZ101 and 1000. Dee

Right. I just got my DX27. To go multi-timbrel I plan to add some FB01s. One soon, more later. And that ensoniq I mentioned last message eventually. -Dee

Have you checked out the ensoniq esq-1? That is multi-timbrel with some nice fat analog sounds. I know some folks who swear by digital (read 'YAMAHA') equipment, but the esq-1 is on my wish list for a multi timbrel synth (along with some FB01s). I hope you know to check…
