#Help unzip me!
Message #216372
Please help unzip me! I have a .zip file that I can't crack. I downloaded unzip.lha but the version of lharc I have doesn't want to deal with it. I downloaded zip.lzh which my lharc successfully decompressed, but pkaZip doesn't like the .zip file and says I need a newer…
Thanks for the info. What I wound up doing was that I formatted the SYS: partition using the backed-up commands that were camping out in another partition. It worked fine. I was nervous. I never did get it to boot from a floppy, though…
#Help! SYS: crash!
Message #181354
The SYS: partition on my hard disk crashed…now it has a READ WRITE ERROR. The files on it seem to be OK, but I can't delete or write to them. The machine says the SYS: partition is NOT VALIDATED. Is there some kind of "revalidator" I can use to avoid…
A few questions: Which version of the OS is installed? Do you know if your machine can successfully run Amiga Basic? What condition is it in? Thanks.
#Which accelerator?
Message #97579
I've been using ProPage for a while on my stock 2000 and it's just too slow. Now it looks like it would be a good idea to purchase an accelerator, if it's not too expensive. Have you seen the ad for the SupraTurbo28? It's not out yet, but it looks…
Lu, Thanks for the offer to snaffle a copy of Pen Pal for us, but that won't be necessary–we've decided against going with that one. Regards & many thanks! Diana & James

Gibberellic acid
Message #846
Has anyone had any experience with gibberellic acid used with vegetables, herbs or berry plants? Would appreciate hearing from anyone who could tell me how to use it and what to expect. Thanks, Diana
Offset Problem
Message #47761
Roger, I experienced extreme wierdness with the ProP 2.1 offset feature as well. Is your Preferences "Center" option set to "on"? Mine was. When I turned it off, the wierdness went away. I think they were fighting with each other. Let me know if this is useful to you. J.
Thanks for writing. Please keep me posted.
Thanks for contacting me. We were surprised that there seemed to be little interest in legal-sized printing on the DeskJet (ours is the Plus), since the printer is designed to handle legal-sized sheets. We wanted to use legal paper to create a full 11" brochure with cutmarks and registration marks…
Thanks for getting in touch with me. Here's my configuration: Amiga 2000 with 3 meg RAM and a 105-meg hard disc; printer is an HP DeskJet Plus. Where can I find a list of typefaces currently available online?
Could you tell me about the quality of the output from MIfont-converted typefaces? I was concerned that since, as I understand it, MIfont generates Amiga standard bitmap font and .metric files, these would not be as good as the structured outline CG fonts. As usual, promotional information has left me…
#ProPage2.1+DeskJet
Message #39935
I'm having a problem involving the use of Professional Page 2.1 and the HP Deskjet Plus printer. I'm trying to print a legal sized brochure, but the output is always cut off at about 10.25". On your help line, Mark James told me that I could probably find a PD…
DJ legal size?
Message #39930
I understand that my deskjet printer driver doesn't print more than 10", even on legal paper. Does anyone have any idea how I might print my 12" ProPage1.2 document ?
