Beethoven is a pretty easy disk to run, as it seems to play most audio from the audio track. Animations in Encyclopedia are much tougher, e.g. my slow drive runs Beethoven fine, but won't do real time animations.
If you have Norton Utilities, use Norton Editor on the file and type in the new value, then save. Remember to always back-up your pre-change version.

MSCDEX 2.21 (in the libs here now, I think) allegedly doesn't require SETVER. The other comment was about running the SETVER MSCDEX in AUTOEXEC, which is merely unnecessary (once you run it, then it puts the version in a file and your SETVER device statement picks it up).

The DMA (Defense Mapping Agency) tends to be topographic and I think starts out life as digital rather than vector. It makes cool backgrounds for a flight simulator (Aviator on Suns), though.
