Mike, Thanks for the hint to use the quick option ( smaking myself for not thinking of it ), the disk now appears usable. Darn thing still doesn't auto-mount, is it posible or must you use a mount command? It does seems to handle disk changes alright at least.

I'm using a Toshiba 3201b drive on my 3000 with the Xetec driver with no problems. I tried the ASIM driver first, but it caused problems with the non-standard block sizes of the NASA disks.
