#Vue file status Message #149885
Hi, what's going on with the project that was uploaded? Dave
Hi, I uploaded TESTDATA.ZIP to the projects section. In the file is a .PRJ and a .VUE of the 1st 100 frames of the project. You will see that only BAD01, BAD02, and BAD05 show up. We're kinda stuck without this functionality, so any help is appreciated. Thanks a lot.

#Looking ahead. Message #134694
Gary, I'd say its time to upgrade that sufferin' cd-rom. Put that poor old thing out of your misery and step up to the 3X. Air Havoc is sweet in 64k color on the triple spin CD. 16-bit audio, … and Tigger too. -RdotJ (robbo dobbo on the jobbo)
#Looking ahead. Message #134421
Just a quick note of thanks. Air Havoc Controller is out the door and will be on shelves world-wide on November 27. Both 2x and 3x CD-ROM versions are available. I gave Dave Dwire two CD's to send you along some other stuff he's sending. Thanks to the work your…
Brian, Did you get it work under NT 3.1, or just NT 3.5? i.e. I've got 20 machines running MS-DOS rendering, all sharing the x: drive (NT 3.5). Aside from syncing the clocks to the server and running SHARE, is there anything else special to do on the MS-DOS side?…
Dear Sirs, Just installed my new Win NT 3.5 Server. Months ago I tried in vain to get network rendering to work with NT 3.1 Server. I was wondering if anyone at Adesk has set up network rendering with Win NT and can tell me any hot tips I need…
#Invalid Project Message #118399
Hi Gary, I've got a project loaded right now that I can't seem to save. I can save the file on the server and try to load it on several other computers. I discovered this by saving, quitting and later trying to reload my project only discover "Invalid project". I…

Gary, I'm Using Tempo on a departing jet. After adjusting the path I choose Path + Follow and select the object. Studio then crashes. I tried it on 3 computers with identical results. Its displays "Computing Trajectory…" and hangs. Help? -Dave Dwire

#IFLs for backgrounds Message #113717
Gary, Whatduya know…using an IFL in place of *.tga appears to be a good solution. Thankyou. Now, network rendering using WFW 3.11/NT works good. Our new P90 render farm is bearing fruit… -Robbo
#Backgrounds Message #113494
Dear Sirs, I(we) have a perpetual problem with Studio regarding backgrounds. I have 50 projects, all setup the same way. They all use a *.TGA series backgrounds. The backgrounds reside on the file server. When I load and render a project, I immediately get "Cannot find BOB*.TGA in Map(s) path…".…

#3DS tech support Message #105636
Sirs, here are some questions I have concerning Studio… 1) Network rendering: We are running a Windows NT Advanced Server as a file server. All our render stations boot MS Dos, and connect to the NTAS from DOS (NOT a DOS shell from within Windows!) All clocks are synched at…

#2ndary Motion Data Message #104426
Gary, If it would be possible to obtain a patched FLAME axp that allows me to disable the Secondary Motion Data so I can render jet propulsion, I would be thrilled. I'm currently pressing ENTER every frame as you suggested. Needless to say its taking a long time…I need to…
Mucho Thanx Message #103930

#103210 Flame IPAS Message #103216
Yes, I re-edited the settings, and clicked on Ok. I loaded the F_JETS.3DS sample, modified none of their existing settings, added the dummy and some motion, and rendered.
#Flame IPAS Message #103201
Sorry, but I think I'm still blowing it. If you load the sample project F_JETS.3DS, make a dummy object, link everything to it, goto the last frame and move the dummy about 30 or so units, the flame shoots way out the back. It seems as though the faster the…
Hi Gary…Robb Rinard at Rainbow in Phoenix here. I have a question regarding FLAME.AXP usage. When I render some flame coming out of the back of one of my jets, the flame exceeds the bounding box by some 10 times its size. The IPAS disk #6 manual states: (Page 80,…
