Message #36682
Hello all…. I have a need to develop an application using the AAPLAY.DLL under VB and C++, but there seems to be a slight problem…. WHERE DO I GET THE CALLS FROM? Is there some SDK I need to buy or something? If so, how much and where from? Or…
#OS/2 and 3DS

I've read a couple of references to the release of 3DS v3, do you guys have a target date yet, for Canada if your even that far yet. Thanx, Pete
Sounds like you've got a pretty cool job! Yes you can transfer files between machines… You need something called MessyDos, which I think is Shareware, but I never used it, or a commercial package called CrossDos, which I use and actually comes bundled with AmigaDos 2.1 and up. Your dealer…
What requirements are there for it? I have a 68000 4.5Meg 1000 running 1.3… is that good enough? I will be buying something new next year (1200, 3000 or 4000 probably) Later. Pete.
Inherited a 1000

I have a 1000, and I've had it for about 5 years. I think its great. I have been planning on upgrading, either to a 3000, 4000 or maybe a 1200 (which I am intending on checking out this weekend at the WOC in Toronto.) I have a DataFlyer 1000…
Falcon 3.0 for the Ami

Alright!! Sounds like an amazing idea. I am about to enter a Toronto area duel at the end of the month on the IBM version. I would kill (or is that GOOD KILL?) for a version at home! Put me down. Peter Scheffler.
Thanx Doug… I've got the OK on the upgrade now, its just the 2 to 2 1/2 week wait that I've got to handle now… 😉 Later. Pete.
David…. Check out the files section here, or the AutoCad section. As well, most (if not all) CAD packages will export .DXF files. Even some Windows drawing programs support it (like CorelDraw.) Hope this is what you were asking. Pete.
Thanx, I am going to call my vendor my Monday morning to see how much the upgrade'll be. Maybe I'll get back to you after she does… Thanx. Pete.
Thanx for the fast answer. I will see if I can get R2 asap! I know that I need it, its just whether or not I can get the guy who signs the bills here to agree!! I will you the 3dsdxf again and see how it goes. Later. Peter.

Help! I am trying to create an animation of a site for our Waste Management department. I am DXF'ing in a series of TIN's (triangulated irregular network) models that were created using our in house software. When I DXF it into both Microstation and AutoCad (11 or 12) there is…
I've got a q….. I want to boot from my VD0:. The LHZ file that I got didn't have any docs. Can this be done?
I know that's why, but they are written somehow. Apparently they are avaiable for about $7000 or $8000 for the PC. I want to know if I can hook one of these suckers up to my Amiga. Thanx for the answer tho, at least I know someone's out there! Pete.
Writable CD's
Message #45550
Hiya out there! What I'm looking for is a CD Writer, not a WORM Drive, but the drive that writes regular CD-ROMS. I need to know if anyoone knows if they can hook up to an Amiga or PC Clone. If you can drop a price to me, that'd be…
Hiya. Yeah, according to the November (or Decmeber?) AmigaWorld, it does accept SIMS, up to 8M's, just like the DataFlyer 500. As well, the board that actually accepts the SIMS is compatible with the 2000 version of the DataFlyer. Pete.
