Don, Nope. I just know that it gets created if you export a still frame as a targa. Probably a temporary file of some sort that doesn't get closed after the PAR is finished writing the targa. Spending Christmas under water this year? tjl

Cal, You want TapCIS. It is absolutely terrific. It takes a little while to figure out all the ins and outs but you can program it, along with Taporder (for thread management) and Tappet (for intelligent thread marking), to do everything you need to do. tjl

Thanks alot. Since I have not yet upgraded to release 3, I was unaware of this capability. Unfortunately, the COGO expert at my office knows very little about anything _but_ COGO. And I know very little about it. So, I'm not sure exactly what capabilities we have in house. tjl
