I'll say it before Daryl does; Appendix J does not mention tool types at all. I have the 2nd edition, and the only mention I can find anywhere is the readme file, which does refer you to Appendix K, which I ain't got. Oh well. Frankly I think Daryl is pressing the ToolTypes question too much; better for you folks to just admit that you made a mistake, and Appendix K is not there for many of us, and to post here the contents of it (or mail to those who request, etc). I know I've had to call Borland a LOT of times about ambiguities/errors in their manuals on Paradox, so I can forgive little old 'Precision, if you rectify the mistake 🙂 But I'd much rather see the ARexx examples you are talking about. How about posting some of them? –jp–seattle–
