David,
I shouldn't have any more memory problems now unless I get into
fractals, big graphics, rendering, raytracing, or a big sound sample of
Handel's Messiah (or something as long). I just installed 2 Meg's of RAM
on my A2091 HD controller from Amiga Warehouse. However, I couldn't find
the RamTest program, and I've misplaced my system diskettes. Moreover,
RamTest isn't on my hard drive HD either. Oh well, I found the bent pins
on the one chip that I misinstalled before I powered up.
I also tried to make a bootable diskette just in case my HD crashed
since I couldn't find my system diskette. Is there a straight-forward way
to do this? The PIPE: device certainly acts funny when you accidently copy
the c directory contents to the root directory instead of the c directory.
SoftWood has updated Pen Pal. We got it along with the promised
sampler for sending in our warranty registration.
I picked up an early copy of DeluxePaint by Electronic Arts in the
user group area of our Huntsville IEEE Computer Faire this past Friday,
March 1st, and Saturday, March 2nd for only $5. That's fun to play with!
What do you know about NorthC on Fred Fish 353?
Anyway, I'm keeping busy.
Sincerely,
(Mr.) Gayle Lee Fairless
