Hi Here's hoping that someone more familiar with modems can help me out. I'm trying to play a PC version of "688 Attack Sub" via modem with a friend of mine using my ATonce emulator. The game runs fine, albeit CGA graphics are the pits. I can't get the modem to dial out or answer through the game. My friend is using a Zoom modem and he doesn't seem to be having any problems. I've sucessfully used ProComm Plus in IBM mode so I know that the serial port configuration is O.K. I set the modem up to auto answer via AT commands and the modem will answer, but the game doesn't recognize the connection. I've had the same problem using a Shareware game called "Modem Poker". I'm hoping that it will just be a matter of changing my initialization string or something of that nature. Does anyone have any ideas. Thanks for any help you can give. George – via Whap!
