Tony: Read the software license on any MAC system software or Amiga Operating Sysytem and you'll find that it allows you to use the software ONLY on specific hardware… Here's part of the MAC license: "This license allows you to use the Apple Software on a single Apple computer and make one copy of the Apple Software in machine-readable form for backup purposes only." from the Apple MAC System Software 6.0.8 softeware license. Note that the above strictly limits the use of the software to a SINGLE APPLE computer. You read it right: that means that using the MAC system software on an Amiga with AMAX is illegal, evenif the Amiga and AMAX are equipped with a MAC rom. Of course, who'ya gonna call? And while I can't find my Amiga OS license around here right now (gee, I hope I don't get pulled over for speeding), I'd be willing to bet that the same applies to the Amiga's operating system software. Just because you can buy the disks or roms with a license, doesn't mean that you can use that software/hardware as you see fit: It means, that if you choose to make use of the code, than you also agree to the terms of the license. That's the "pick" 'n the "nit" of it 🙂 – Whapp!ng from the North Coast Michael
