Ben: The satellite systems sounds neat. As far as CBM advertising goes, last year there were a considerable number of national 'flight's' purchased. CNN, Network, etc. Those types of ads are VERY expensive and reach a very broad market which may or may or may not contain the sample you are trying to reach. It appears that in 1991, with its economic uncertainties (remember, earlier in the year computer sales were way down), and CDTV was about to hit the streets, CBM apparently decided to spend their small ad budget where it would do the most(in CBM's opinion, anyway). No more 'Stevie'. The ads that were placed were (are) regional or 'spot' ads, targeted to a very specific geography, and (supposedly) to a very specific audience (why is it I've never seen an Amiga ad in a video mag?). These types of ads are not on the cable systems sats or the networks; they are delivered directly to the local TV station or cable operator by the ad agency. I've only seen one ad in the last six months (actually, my wife saw it)… and I live in the greater Cleveland, Ohio area (population 2,000,000 in 40 sq miles). I guess you need sat systems out your way, being Big Sky country 'n all. I also whish that I had the time to learn more about your AVT stuff… now THAT is interesting. 🙂 – Whapp!ng from the North Coast Michael
