There is no "interface" like what you're looking for. The SAS compiler is both a better compiler and better (more consistantly) supported than the Manx compiler. My recommendation is the SAS compiler, easily. The Amiga's multitasking OS and "deep" filesystem make it easy to live with a regular compiler and a good editor, skipping all the integrated environment stuff the PC and Mac owners have traditionally needed to get around the built-in problems of their more primitive operating systems. The key to all of this is a good editor. There are only three _really_ good ones now… UEdit (Shareware), TTX/TurboText (commercial) and CED (Commercial). Don't try and work thru with Ed or EDIT, and for grids sake whatever you do, do NOT try and use LSE, the editor that comes with SAS/c… "that way lies insanity" <grin> –Ben
