Ben, Thanks for your opinion on C compilers. My reference to quick basic was from a census record program I wrote for my laptop. For the MessyDOS enviroment it was very easy to use. I liked it much more than Amiga Basic as far as the programming interface goes. You and Steve both agree that SAS is the one to go with so I guess I'll have to order a copy and get one or the other of the editors you mentioned. Let me ask another question. Can you recommend any good books for learning C? I already have the Waite Groups Inside the Amiga with C but I haven't looked at it much as yet. Thanks. Best… {MR} WHAP!ing from "The Field Of Dreams"
