#downloading ARC.EXE
Can anyone out there help me with one tiny little problem?
I've tried twice now to download ARC.EXE from DL4, with two different results.
First, the two numbers after the file name in the DL directory do not correlate
in any way with what I see when I LIST the results of an attempted download.
Not even close!
Attempt 1 got 45 blocks transferred, then bounced out of transfer (Online!
bounced out, that is) and the screen started filling up with garbage. Resulting
file size: approx. 22K.
Attempt 2 got 53 blocks transferred, then bounced again. Resulting size:
approx. 25K.
Both attempts produce "not an object module", even though the blurb says the
file does -> NOT <- have to be chopped.
Me no understand, kimosabe.
By the way, I was using CIS-B both times.
