That's not what John said… he was reffering to OEM deals. In an OEM
deal, a company purchases an exisiting product and adds their own
functionality to the product, creating a 'new' product taht can be
marketed by a VAR (value-added-reseller). Such products DO command a
premium (deservedly so).
NewTek is not selling an Amiga clone…. they are selling a Value
Added Amiga based video workstation.
