Dean,
I have a 3000 with 2 Quantum 210s installed so I am using CBMs
controller. WITHOUT going to the manuals can you tell me how to update the
RDBs? Further, I am not using 2.04 in ROM but rather from disk as I see
little reason to install the ROM (I have it). I have 8 megs of FAST ram so
the 512K is not that important and besides, from what I gather, if you want
the speed you STILL need to SetCPU the ROM image into RAM. Further, and
here is a potential problem from what you are saying, I MAY want to boot up
1.3 now and then. It would seem that what you are saying makes it risky for
me to upgrade any partition that may be read by BOTH OSs. It seems you are
saying that my 1.3 side will have trouble reading partitions upgraded to
the 2.04 FFS. Is that right? If so then maybe I just reconfigure my
System2.0: volume? Appreciate your help.
