Thank you for your comments, Charles. I'm one of the original developers of Harvard Draw, and I'll be sure to pass your comments on to the development teams. I know they agree with many of your points, and although I can't announce anything about upgrades, I'm sure you'll be pleased. I'm trying to get a better feeling for the way people use Corel's manipulation effects such as extrusion, warp, etc. Corel's extrude, for example, isn't as fancy as it could be: the extruded sides of an object are not shaded, so people are often forced to re-color the sides by hand if they want a shaded effect. The dialog isn't very friendly, you need to enter two or three numbers in a non-intuitive fashion. How do you use Corel's extrude, and what would you do to improve it, or how would you like to see it implemented in Corel Draw? Do you produce color separations? If so, what kind of printer do you use for that? As for fonts, you'll soon be using TrueType fonts in Windows 3.1. I'm afraid everyone's disk is going to be clogged with fonts.
