A problem has recently surfaced that is most baffling, if not really really an impossible situation. While 2.01 was still on the machine, my prompts started lagging one step behind. For instance, I would choose CAMERA -> PLACE and I would pick a place. At this point, there would be no prompt for the target, although it would accept the next point as the target. After picking this point, the normal CREATE dialog box would come up, I would pick O.K., and now the PICK TARGET prompt would appear. Everything seems to function O.K.; it's just that the prompts are one step behind. Now it gets really weird. I just installed the 2.01a update, (not as a new installation … just the executable, etc.), figuring this would solve the problem, but it is still there, regardless whether it is a completely new model or not. I can go ahead and re-install the whole thing, but should this hopefully solve the problem? I am using an Hitachi 1212D digitizer set up as a mouse, and SoftEngine 2.1 as a video driver. Any ideas?
