Greg, There's no question that the Amiga, from an engineering and system software perspective, is a superb platform. This is largely what has kept the machine alive to this point. There's also no question that from a marketing perspective, the Amiga is a complete disaster. "Commodore marketing" is an oxymoron. There is no Commodore marketing. Just occasional lame, half-hearted approximations. Money is not the most important factor here. The important factors are creativity and innovation; here C= comes up empty-handed. IMO, if this situation does not soon change, the Amiga will soon cease to be a viable platform for software development. As Ben says, "The writing's on the wall." -Dave (via AutoPilot)
