That's ok, Mike. There's far more misinformation about that format than almost any other I've observed recently. In general, CD-I is a non-ISO9660 standard for CDs that is platform dependent. Unlike ISO9660 discs, which can frequently be read by several different platforms, CD-I makes demands on system-specific firmware, especially (I think) with regard to data compression/decompression, which is used extensively to produce some high-quality multimedia effects. However, it is slow. You can find out more about it in the CD-I section of the Multimedia forum.
