Well, adding gunk to gunk won't really help, but I agree that anybody who mounts an anti-smoking drive in Mexico City should also be prepared to dynamite a lot of industry. Aztecs, of course. Saw a thing on recent Incan discoveries the evening when I was typing and had Inca on the brain. They were excavating the huge central square and temple essentially well within the city when I was there several years ago. They originally were going to put an office building on the site but now it's being excavated, studied, and restored and will be a civic plaza instead. One of the few progressive moves the city has made, but I fear all it will do is hasten the destruction of what they've uncovered.
