I'm back
There is no coffee like that served by the Cuban community in Miami (I don't
know about Cuba itself… I was there once on a hijacked plane!). Thick, rich
and just loaded with caffeine.
It is so strong, it is sold by the sip, a "buche," which packt the full impact
of a cup of watery, American style coffee. Usually 25 cents for a large sip in
a cup like those you get a pill in at a hospital.
For a while, I trudged around with the modified espresso machine that makes it,
but it died on the move to LA.
If you can see the bottom of the cup, it isn't coffee.
