I've been using After Dark, can't recall which version I was using, latest one with the lawnmower man module and the space game. I turned off the INIT with my INIT manager cause it caused a lockup when I used the RESTART or SHUTDOWN and then try to RESTART. I just turn off the monitor when not using the computer for any length of time while in AMAX mode. I also found that Pyro (rather early version) caused my MAC II ci slow down, and lose parts of files when printing Postscript to my Varityper 4300P laser imager. It caused lots of headaches until I turned it off. My ex-partner wanted it ON, but I tried to explain running the thing full tilt, demanding as much screen refresh as the program could muster from the CPU caused the system to "cough" and lose portions of the data going over Appletalk, since a MAC can't truly multi-task, something has to give when the CPU gets overloaded with work.
