David, I am in total agreement with you and your rumours are the same rumours I heard. I love animator Pro except for it's ABSOLUTE REFUSAL TO DO 24-BIT, argh!!!!!!!!!! Arghhhhhhh! (Feel better now). This is a very powerful source of frustration for me, lately, and I feel Autodesk is in danger of falling behind in the race for a good 2d animation package. Jeez, even Mathematica has come up with a poxy 16-bit flic format ahead of Adesk – what's the world coming too?!! I have the feeling that Autodesk may need to buy into some existing 24-bit 2D animation package and mold that to their specs and make it the new Animator Pro. Pssst! I heard that RIO is far sale.
