To get the boot device selection menu you have to hold down both buttons
much longer than you'd expect to for processor selection (it appears that
you have to hold them until the boot ROMs have checked all the boot
devices). Would have been nice if the upgrade documented the changes,
wouldn't it?
NOTE: one of the useful things you can do with the boot menu is use it to
allow some older games to come up correctly (ones that don't seem to like
sharing the computer with your hard drives or second floppy disk). Try
setting 68000 mode, then quickly hold both buttons until the device
selection menu comes up, pick advanced options and disable everything but
DF0, then continue the boot with the game disk installed in DF0. Works with
a couple of the games I have.
