Didn't pick the details on the "improvement by summer", but I gathered it involved a chip change. What chip? I don't know. From a recent posting by Steve Ahlstrom, sounds as if somebody had a tape recorder going at that meeting. Seems to me that if Commodore were planning a PROFOUND upgrade to the 1200, they would keep that information totally secret. As with other products at other times, to-soon disclosure can wreck the market for the current product. –Jim
