#Toaster RS422 Control??
I'm new to this forum, but here because I screened the 2.0 demo last month.
I'm mostly impressed with the 3D amin., and our B-suite switcher is held
together with bailing wire.
So my boss says OK, but what's it _really_ going to cost? What I'm looking
for is serial(RS-422, Sony P2 protocol) control of my Beta SP decks from
the Toaster platform. This is truly for the 3D only, as I could GPI the
Toaster from the edit controller (the Toaster does GPI, doesn't it?). Can
anyone refer me to the answer??
Also, did I hear someone say Newtek guys are working on serial digital I/O?
How about Ethernet I/O to Digital Disk recorders for frame animation??
