#2400 BAUD
Jeff,
A couple of things….you aren't trying to use Vadic protocol are you?
Ken's suggestion about waiting for the 20 seconds is also a possibility, check
the #'s in the CIS list (GO PHONES) and see if they have an M beside
them….that means they support MNP error correction protocol and do a modem
inquiry to see if your modem supports it, they will switch to normal 2400 baud
response if your modem doesn't reply as a MNP supporting modem.
Finaly, OnLine! doesn't work very well at 2400 baud due to it's screen
I/O. This will be fixed in the next release of OnLine! but it can cause
problems…you are limited to about 1100bps screen output..perhaps even a bit
slower.
